Response:
Dear Maria,
Thank you for your comment, and Jason Altmire does deserves consideration. However, I think we need a real choice, and pro-choice choice, and a woman. Therefore, I think that Georgia Berner would be a stronger candidate.
The need for more women candidates is obvious.
On the choice issue, I think that Hart's extreme stand does not
represent the majority in the 4th District, or most other places.
Altmire has stated he is trying to take a middle position. Everyone
likes middle positions, but on that issue it is next to impossible.
We may be stuck supporting Casey this fall, but I'm glad to have
soimeone I can support wholeheartedly.
Love and Peace,
Jonathan Robison

Your comments about Georgia Berner and her opponent are interesting, considering your comments about Casey above. The other Democrat in this race for the 4th CD is Jason Altmire, whose website is www.jasonaltmire.com. I would characterize him much like Casey, a moderate Democrat. He is emerging as the frontrunner in the race against Melissa Hart and clearly worth checking out. If we want to be serious about beating Melissa Hart next November, we have to support a Democrat who fits the profile of the 4th CD. Otherwise, we'll be stuck with Hart for another two years. Not to mention, there have been murmurs about Senator or Gov Hart in the future. We need to be serious about stopping Hart now.
